Oil and Coal

I'm participating in a sci-fi themed art show that will be opening tomorrow night in Orlando, FL. I don't normally do these outside type of shows but my current lack of direction in my life has prompted me to do things outside of my comfort zone. Not big into sci-fi but I've always liked the style of steampunk so I knew I wanted to pull from that. I also wanted to do a gritty, dirty piece since the Industrial Revolution wasn't about clean technology. Experimented with masking fluid for the first time to promising results so I hope to use that for future pieces.
